What it is
Granola is a notepad for meetings. It transcribes your computer's audio in the background, so no bot joins the call, and works with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack huddles and in-person meetings. You type notes as you go, and afterwards it combines them with the transcript into enhanced notes, action items and drafted follow-ups. You can chat with your meeting history, share notes, and let other AI apps read them through an MCP connector. Apps run on Mac, Windows, iOS and Android.
The free Basic plan keeps unlimited notes but only lets you work with meetings from the last 30 days. Business costs $14 per user a month and adds unlimited history, pre-meeting briefs, follow-up emails, integrations such as Notion and HubSpot, and API access. Granola deletes audio after transcription, so you keep the transcript rather than a recording.
