What it is
Fathom records Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls, either with a meeting bot or, in a beta on Mac, without one. It produces a searchable transcript, an AI summary and action items, and Ask Fathom searches across past conversations. Notes can be sent to Slack, Notion, Asana, Zapier, ChatGPT and Claude, and Business plans sync fields to HubSpot and Salesforce. Its site has moved from fathom.video to fathom.ai.
The free plan for individuals includes unlimited recordings and transcriptions, instant summaries, clips and playlists, though some AI features are marked as limited use. Premium costs $16 per user a month billed annually ($20 monthly) and adds advanced summaries, AI action items and a custom meeting bot. Team and Business plans need at least two users.
