Zapier is a web-based automation platform that links more than 9,000 apps. You build Zaps, workflows that run when something happens in one app and act in others, with fixed rules or AI steps. It also offers Zapier Agents, which act across your tools, plus Chatbots, Canvas for mapping workflows, Tables, Forms, and an MCP server that lets assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT use its app connections.
The free plan includes 100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps and basic access to Agents and MCP. Paid plans are priced by monthly task volume: Professional starts at $19.99 a month billed annually ($29.99 monthly) for 750 tasks and adds multi-step Zaps. Costs rise quickly at high task counts, so busy workflows can get expensive.
