What it is
Mistral Vibe is Mistral AI's assistant, called Le Chat until May 2026. It combines Vibe for work, a chat assistant for research, drafting and data analysis, with Vibe for code, an agent that writes, tests and deploys code and can run tasks that open pull requests. It connects to more than 100 tools and supports MCP, and it runs on the web (chat.mistral.ai), on iOS and Android, as a CLI and in VS Code and JetBrains.
It suits people and teams who want a European alternative to US assistants. The free plan has limited messages, web searches and coding sessions. Pro costs $14.99 a month, verified students pay less, and enterprises can deploy it on premises or in a private cloud.
