What it is
Figma is a browser and desktop design tool for interfaces and prototypes, with AI features across its products. Figma Make turns prompts and existing designs into prototypes and web apps, and the Figma agent generates and remixes designs, automates repetitive tasks and gives design feedback. Other tools cover image editing such as object selection and erasing, Figma Weave workflows for images and vectors, text rewriting, visual search for assets and an MCP server that lets outside AI agents work with your files.
It suits teams that already design in Figma. AI use runs on credits: the free Starter plan gets up to 500 a month, a Professional full seat at $16 a month includes 3,000, and extra credits can be bought on any plan.
Best for
- Product designers turning ideas into clickable prototypes and web apps
- Teams automating repetitive design tasks like renaming layers
- Connecting designs to coding agents through the MCP server
