What it is

Augment Code's main product is Cosmos, a web platform for building what it calls a software factory: agent loops for triage, writing pull requests, code review, testing, vulnerability fixes and incident response, with engineers approving work at checkpoints. Its Context Engine indexes your codebase so agents work with project context, and the Auggie CLI brings the agent to the terminal.

Standard costs $20 a month flat for up to 50 seats and includes $20 of usage; Business is $100 a month. Model usage is billed at the provider's list price plus a 40% service fee, so heavy use costs more than the plan price. In October 2026 Harness announced it is acquiring Cosmos and the CLI, and Cosmos will become a Harness product.

Best for

  • Engineering teams automating ticket-to-PR and code review loops
  • Large codebases where agents need deep project context
  • Small teams that want one flat price instead of per-seat fees
