What it is
ProWritingAid checks grammar, spelling and punctuation and goes further with style reports and line-editing feedback, aimed at storytellers. It can rephrase sentences, give feedback on a story idea, critique chapters and suggest ways past writer's block. It works in a web editor, a desktop editor, Google Docs and Microsoft Office.
It suits fiction writers and anyone revising long documents. The free plan includes basic grammar checks with daily limits on reports and rephrases. Premium removes the limits for $30 a month billed monthly, $10 a month billed yearly or a one-time $399 lifetime license, and Premium Pro costs $36 a month billed monthly.
