What it is
Google Flow is Google's AI filmmaking tool for creating clips, scenes and stories, along with images and custom tools. It runs Google's generative models, including the Gemini Omni Flash video model announced at Google I/O 2026, which builds on Veo and Nano Banana. Flow works best in a Chromium-based browser on a computer, and there is an Android app for creating on the go.
It suits people already in Google's AI plans. The free Google plan includes Flow with limited access to the Nano Banana Pro image model. Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra add monthly Flow credits for the video models, with higher tiers giving more credits and early access to experimental models, and extra credits can be bought. Qualifying Google Workspace plans include Flow with 50 daily credits. You must be 18 or older and in a supported country.
Best for
- Building short films and scenes with consistent characters
- Google AI subscribers who want video generation included
- Editing one clip of a sequence without regenerating the rest
