What it is
Rork builds mobile and web apps from a chat. It writes native iPhone apps in Swift with SwiftUI, Android apps in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, and web apps in React, runs them in a cloud simulator next to the chat, and submits builds to TestFlight, the App Store and Google Play. Design and Plan modes show screens and a plan before code is written, and Rork Backend adds data, auth and storage. You can import projects from GitHub or other builders, and build from an iOS app.
The free plan is for designing only, with up to 35 design credits a month. Building and publishing an app needs Rork Pro at $20 a month, or Rork Max from $200 a month. Publishing also needs your own Apple Developer membership ($99 a year) and Google Play developer account ($25 one time).
Best for
- Founders who want a real native iPhone app, not a web wrapper
- Turning an existing web app or Lovable project into a mobile app
- Getting an app through App Store submission
