What it is
Shortwave is an email client that adds an AI assistant to Gmail. It searches your mail history to answer questions, summarizes threads, analyzes attachments, autocompletes and drafts replies, browses the web and connects to other tools, and sorts mail with AI filters. Higher plans run more capable Claude models and allow more AI usage. It has web, desktop, iOS and Android apps.
Shortwave signs in only with Gmail and Google Workspace accounts; Microsoft 365 and Exchange accounts are not supported. A free plan covers most productivity features, and paid plans include a 14-day trial: Business costs $30 per seat a month, Premier $45 and Max $120, with a separate individual tier.
